Top Prospects

Jason All C / McCutcheon, IN / 2018 Rankings  StateRank: 100 / POS: 8 Stocky, 6-foot, 205 pound catcher showcased pop times ranging between 1.88-2.01.  Very quick transfer into release.  Short, high 3/4 arm action.  Strong arm, throws had carry at 75mph.  Dives forward, long footwork.  Hits from an athletic, open setup.  Slight leg kick as barrel tips in hand load.  Creates lift at contact.  Present gap to gap power.  High exit velocity of 88mph.

Zach Collins C / Westfield, IN / 2019 Rankings  StateRank: 59 / POS: 10 5-foot-11, 185 pound catcher displayed a balanced, open setup with a quick barrel.  Hands load back, creates a short, level path to contact.  Produced line drives gap to gap.  Defensively, he has a quick transfer into high 3/4 release.  Footwork is short, quick.  Pop times ranged between 1.95-2.06.  Throws topped 71mph with accuracy.   He ran a 7.65 60 yard dash.

Evan Bohrer C / 1B / Zionsville , IN / 2019 5-foot-10, 210 pound catcher hits from a tall, open setup. Long stride, good rhythm.  Lands open, over rotates at times.  Above average bat speed.  Connected with several line drives from gap to gap.  High exit velocity of 82.  He has short, quick footwork behind the dish.  Short arm swing, average transfer.  High release with average arm strength.  Pop times ranged between 2.14-2.19.

Ty Mathews C / 3B / Brownsburg , IN / 2021  5-foot-11, 155 pound catcher has a tall, balanced setup in the batters box.  Short stride as hands load back.  Choppy rhythm.  Average bat speed.  Uses all fields.  High exit velocity of 81mph.  Defensively, he has an upright setup with short arm circle.  Quick transfer, long footwork.  Throws topped 72mph.  Strong arm for age.  Pop times ranged 2.12-2.22.

Kolton Stevens C / University, IN / 2019 Lanky, 6-foot, 160 pound catcher hits from a tall, balanced setup.  Hands load back with a vertical barrel.  Stiff lower half.  Average bat speed.  Level path to contact.  High exit velocity of 69mph.  Behind the plate, Stevens has long footwork and arm swing.  Clean, fluid transfer into release.  Throws peaked at 71mph.  Pop times ranged between 2.13-2.26.
