4A Top 25

No. 19 Westfield 5 No. 8 Zionsville 3 – Chris Ayers picked up the win throwing five innings allowing three hits, three unearned runs, and striking out six. Jackson Bard got the save throwing the final two innings allowing two hits and striking out two. Ayer was 1-2 with a double, RBI, and a run, Ryan Pepiot doubled and drove in a run, Nick Rhodes and Harrison Freed each went 1-3 with a RBI and a run, and Brian Skelton was 2-3 with a RBI. 

Lincoln Way North (IL) 11 No. 12 Crown Point 1 

No. 16 Evansville North 5 Owensboro Catholic 1 – Evansville North put up four runs in the second inning en route to a win. 

No. 20 Hamilton Southeastern 13 Brebeuf 4 – The offense was led by Matt Gorski and Jonathan McGee, Forski was 3-5 with a double, three RBI, and three runs and McGee was 2-4 with a grand slam and five RBI. JB Washburn was 2-2 with a RBI and two runs, Nathan Williams was 1-1 with a RBI and a run, and Cole Jacobs was 1-3 with a RBI and two runs.

 

3A Top 10

Pike 9 No. 2 Lebanon 6 – Leighton Turnpaugh was 2-3 with a double, three RBI, and a run, Josh Hunter was 2-3 with a RBI and three runs, Mitch Graff had a RBI and a run scored, and Clayton Warner was 2-4 with a run. 

No. 5 Crawfordsville 11 Fountain Central 4 – Nick Corbin was 3-4 with a triple, RBI, and three runs, Trent Johnson was 2-4 with two doubles, a RBI, and two runs, Tyler Reeves was 2-3 with a double, two RBI, and a run, and Dane Baldwin was 2-3 with a double, RBI, and a run scored. Baldwin got the win on the mound throwing 4.2 innings allowing two runs on six hits while striking out seven. 

No. 10 Silver Creek 10 Henryville 0 – Cody Razer got the win throwing three shutout innings, not allowing a hit while striking out three. Cameron Cook was 2-3 with a homerun, two RBI, and three runs, Brahm Whittinghill was 2-4 with a double and four RBI, and Razer was 2-3 with a double and three runs.

 

2A/1A Top 10

No. 7 South Spencer 9 Daviess County 0 – Jesse Stallings threw six shutout innings allowing four hits and striking out five to get the win. Kobe Stephens was 2-3 with a double and three RBI, Stallings was 2-4 with a double and two RBI, and Taylor Market was 1-3 with two RBI and a run scored. 

Chatard 6 No. 10 Cardinal Ritter 1 – Blake Walker threw three innings allowing one run on three hits while striking out five. Wannemeuhler was 3-3 with a RBI and two runs, Hepp was 1-3 with a double and two RBI, and Sowinski had two RBI and a run.

Bloomington South 8 Edgewood 3 – Nick Wright was 1-3 with a double, two RBI, and a run, Henry Niswander was 2-3 with a RBI and a run, and Chase Daab was 2-5 with a RBI and a run. Wright threw 3.1 innings allowing one earned run, three hits, and struck out one. Eli Hughes threw 1.2 shutout innings, striking out two. 

Fairfield 7 Vallejo 6 – Corey Webb and Anthony Canavasio each went 2-4 with a double, two RBI, and a run scored, Robert Meadows was 1-1 with a RBI and a run, and Damon Gustufsen doubled, drove in a run, and scored once. Canavasio threw a complete game allowing three earned runs and striking out nine. 

Forest Park 10 Crawford County 0 – Ben Wendholt and Jaxon Cronin combined for a no hitter. Wendholt threw four innings allowing two walks and striking out 10 and Cronin struck out two in his one inning. Wendholt led the offense going 2-2 with a double, three RBI, and two runs. Bailey Hoffman hit a solo homerun, Jacob Weisman was 1-2 with a double, RBI, and two runs, and Andy Schlachter was 1-3 with two RBI and a run. 

FW Wayne 9 Manchester 8 – Deyonne Hunter was 3-4 with a double, two RBI, and a run scored, Braxton Riley was 2-2 with a double and three runs, Austin Fletcher was 2-2 with a double, two RBI, and two runs, and Bryson McKee doubled, drove in a run, and scored once. Brian Howell threw four innings allowing two unearned runs, four hits, and striking out four. 

Hammond Morton 17 East Chicago Central 3 – Garza led the offense going 3-4 with four RBI and a run. Cody Earl tripled, drove in four runs, and scored three times, Devonte Robinson was 3-3 with a RBI and three runs, and Juan Mireles was 1-1 with two RBI and two runs. McCormick got the win throwing four innings allowing one hit, no earned runs, and striking out seven. 

Lanesville 14 Scottsburg 4 – Caleb Gresham drove in five runs going 3-4 with a triple, Brenden Bube was 2-4 with a RBI and two runs, Stephen Shaffer was 2-4 with a double, RBI, and three runs, and Ryan McCubbins was 1-3 with a RBI and three runs. Jon Ferree picked up the win throwing four innings allowing four hits and striking out two. 

Lapel 14 Hamilton Heights 0 – Brady Cherry threw a five inning shutout allowing four hits and striking out nine to get the win. Cade Luker homered and drove in four runs, Cherry was 2-2 with three RBI and two runs, John Magers was 3-3 with a double, two RBI, and three runs, Jaxson Shirley was 2-3 with two doubles, three RBI, and a run, and Todd Sherwood was 2-4 with a double, RBI, and two runs. 

Lowell 5 Bishop Noll 2 – Josh Arnold picked up the win throwing four innings allowing one earned run, one hit, and struck out seven, Jeremy Surowiec threw three shutout innings, not allowing a hit while striking out four. Justin Thomas was 2-3 with a double, triple, and two RBI, Reed Holdeman was 1-2 with a RBI and a run, and John Cory was 2-4 with a double and a run. 

Marion 10 Frankton 7 – Marion trailed 7-4 going into the seventh but scored six in the top of the inning to move ahead for good. Javon Yeakle was 3-4 with a double and two RBI, Jason Garcia was 2-3 with a double, two RBI, and a run, Isaiah Smith doubled, drove in two runs, and scored once, Tyler McNair was 1-2 with a RBI and two runs, and Tra Cox was 2-4 with two runs. 

Mishawaka 8 Northwood 7 – Daulton Ryans was 3-4 with a double, two RBI, and a run cored, Avondre Harris drove in two runs and scored twice, Luke Shively ha two RBI, and Cody Quier doubled, drove in a run, and scored once. Jacob Schmatz threw 3.2 innings allowing one unearned run, two hits, and striking out two. 

Muncie Burris 13 Southern Wells 2 – Nathan Grzesiek was 2-3 with a double, homerun, and five RBI, Owen Crum was 3-3 with a double and four RBI, Josh Monroe was 2-4 with two RBi and four runs, and Austin Applegate was 2-4 with two RBI and two runs. Crum threw all five innings allowing two unearned runs, five hits, and striking out five. 

North Knox 18 Bloomfield 5 – North Knox had five homeruns in the game, Shanson Lamb hit two going 4-6 with two RBI and four runs. Christopher Gorman was 2-4 with a homerun, four RBI, and two runs, Luke McKinnon hit a solo homerun, and Austin Ford was 1-3 with a homerun and three RBI. Jordan Meurer was 2-4 with a double, two RBI, and two runs and Jarrett Todd was 2-3 with a double RBI, and a run scored. 

Northwestern 5 Tipton 1 – Armstrong got the win throwing a complete game allowing one run on six hits while striking out 10. Max Clark was 2-3 with a RBI, Collin Hodson was 1-2 with a RBI and a run, Ian Parslow was 2-4 with a RBI, and Austin Pyle was 1-2 with two runs. 

Prairie Heights 4 Bronson 1 – Tanners Perkins threw a complete game to get the win allowing one run on three hits while striking out six. Tyler Christman was 1-3 with a double and two RBI, Kenyon Helmuth was 2-4 with a RBI and a run, and Mike Gustin was 2-3 with a double. 

Rising Sun 5 Oldenburg Academy 2 – Mitch Morris struck out seven in his four innings of work to get the win allowing one hit and one unearned run. Brady Murray was 3-4 with a RBI, Kurtis Armstrong was 2-4 with a double, RBI, and two runs, and Brent Housemyer was 2-3 with a RBI and a run scored. 

SB St. Joe 14 New Prairie 4 – Matt Potter led the offense going 2-3 with a double, four RBI, and a run scored, Daniel Torres was 2-2 with a double, RBI, and three runs, Wes Short was 1-1 with a double, two RBI, and three runs, and Connor Gentry was 1-2 with a homerun and two RBI. Ryan Fraser got the win throwing 3.2 innings allowing three hits, three unearned runs, and striking out five. 

Sullivan 10 Vincennes Rivet 0 – Jarrad Klitz picked up the win throwing four shutout innings allowing two hits and striking out eight. Cody Turner was 2-3 with a double, two RBI, and a run, Evan Conner was 2-3 with two RBi and a run, Kade Plummer was 103 with two RBI and a run, and Shane Garner was 2-3 with a double and a RBI. 

Washington Township 7 Lake Station Edison 4 – Jordan Williams led the offense going 3-4 with a homerun, three RBI, and two runs. Chase Peiffer was 1-3 with a RBI, Evan Muha had a RBI, and Troy Kwiatkowski was 1-2 with three runs. 

Wawasee 9 Wabash 8 F/8 – Wawasee scored one run in the sixth, seventh, and eighth to get the win, pounding out 13 hits.

Wheeler 9 South Central 8 – Sam Bolla was 2-3 with a triple, three RBI, and two runs to lead the offense. Austin Whitaker was 2-4 with a double and two RBI, Zach Chambers was 1-2 with a double and a RBI, and Jacob Armentrout tripled, drove in a run, and scored once.
