No. 2 Cathedral 8 Southport 1 – Will Conway and Trey Craig combined for a no hitter. Conway went two innings, striking out four, and Craig went five innings, striking out five. Brantley Johnson was 1-2 with a double, three RBI, and a run, Grant Spicer was 2-2 with two RBI and a run, and Nick Easton was 1-4 with a RBI. 

Portage 5 No. 4 Lake Central 1 – Nick Elwood threw a complete game to get the win allowing four hits, no earned runs, and struck out eight. Jesse Bustos went 2-3 with two RBI and a run, Jacob Dickson was 1-3 with two RBI and a run, and Mike Lakomek was 1-2 with a run. 

No. 5 Penn 14 SB Riley 4 

No. 19 Center Grove 6 No. 6 Carmel 4 – Nick Coy went 1-2 with three RBI and a run, Sauter was 2-4 with a RBI, and Michael Wyman was 2-4 with two runs. Jack Kellams got the win throwing five innings allowing two earned runs and striking out three. 

No. 7 Andrean 8 Lowell 3 – Jacob Sweeney threw 3.2 shutout innings allowing two hits and striking out seven. Clay Thompson was 3-4 with a double and a RBI, Bednarek was 2-4 with a RBI and a run, Evan Hylek was 1-3 with three runs, and Noah Davis was 2-3 with a double and a run. 

No. 9 Hobart 2 No. 24 Munster 1 – Alex Batistatos threw a complete game to get the win allowing one run on three hits, striking out six. Jared Zanolla was 2-3 with a RBI, Luke Budzielek was 1-33 with a RBI, and Josh Uhles was 1-3 with a run. 

Floyd Central 4 No. 13 New Albany 3 F/10 – Chase Smith singled in the winning run in the bottom of the 10th. Smith was 2-5 with a double, two RBI, and a run, Phillip Archer was 1-3 with a double, RBI, and a run, Evan Jewell was 2-4 with a run, and Nathan Clark was 1-4 with a RBI. Alex Lozado threw three innings allowing two hits and striking out three to get the win. 

Leo 1 No. 17 Carroll 0 – Drew Keil threw five shutout innings to get the win allowing three hits and striking out four. Blake Busche picked up the save throwing the final two innings. Ryan Lantz was 1-3 with a double and a RBI and Nate Conroy was 1-3 with a run. 

No. 22 Richmond 3 Muncie Central 2 – Thomas Stanley got the win throwing four innings allowing one run on two hits, striking out four. Isaak Snyder was 2-4 with a triple, RBI, and a run, Thomas Stanley was 2-3, and Austin Turner doubled and scored. 

Warren Central 9 No. 23 Lawrence North 3 – George Dant got the win throwing six innings allowing six hits, no earned runs, and struck out two. Austin Schnarr was 2-2 with a RBI, Drew Summeier was 1-3 with a double, two RBI, and a run, Jon Stephens was 1-4 with two RBI and a run, and Dant was 2-3 with a double and a run. 

No. 25 Evansville Reitz 4 Mt. Vernon 3 – Long got the win throwing six innings allowing one earned run, four hits, and struck out five. Ricker hit a solo homerun, Long was 1-3 with two RBI, and Deig scored twice.

No. 4 Yorktown 14 Monroe Central 2 – Jake Clawson went 2-3 with two homeruns and four RBI, Jacob Morris was 3-4 with a double, two RBI, and a run, and Matt Phillips was 2-4 with two doubles, three RBI, and a run. Sam Kinghorn got the win throwing four innings allowing two runs on three hits. 

Southridge 7 No. 6 Silver Creek 3 – Payton Mattingly threw a complete game to get the win allowing one earned run and struck out nine. Chad Meyer was 2-3 with three RBI, Nolan O’Brien was 1-3 with a double, RBI, and a run, and Ross Eckert doubled and scored twice.

No. 10 Griffith 11 Kankakee Valley 1 – Denny Colomes was 2-3 with a double and three RBI, Amir Wright was 2-4 with a double and two runs, Kody Hoese was 1-3 with a double, RBI, and two runs, and Anthony Quintero was 1-3 with a RBI and three runs. Charlie Flores threw five innings to get the win allowing four hits. 

Western Boone 4 No. 10 Lebanon 0 – Nathaniel Bye and Lance Oldham combined for a no hitter. Bye went six innings, striking out seven, and Oldham threw the final inning. Felix Martinez went 2-3 with two RBI, Peyton Young doubled and scored, Bye was 1-3 with a RBI, and John Bromberek was 1-2 with a RBI and a run.

No. 2 South Spencer 15 Apollo 3 – Dalton Schneider led the offense going 3-4 with two doubles, five RBI, and two runs. Matthew Bunch was 2-4 with two RBI and two runs, Trent Lehr was 3-5 with a RBI and two runs, Dylan Kelly was 3-5 with two runs, and Sammy Rowan tripled and drove in two. Caleb Helms threw all six innings allowing three hits and striking out seven. 

No. 5 Knightstown 10 Blue River Valley 0 – Max Rinehart was 2-4 with a grand slam and two runs, Drake Peggs was 2-4 with a triple, RBI, and three runs, Spencer Mattix was 2-4 with two RBI, and Tyler Burton was 1-3 with two RBI. Kaunner Cleek got the win throwing four shutout innings allowing two hits and striking out six. 

No. 7 Taylor 12 Manchester 2 – Cole Braun was 3-3 with a double, RBI, and two runs, Trevor Harris was 2-4 with a double, RBI, and a run, Noah Poe was 2-3 with a double and a run, and Cole Schroeder was 1-2 with a RBI and a run. Harris threw all five innings allowing one earned run, five hits, and struck out three. 

No. 9 Southwood 19 Blackford 4 – Clay Hinrichsen went 4-5 with a grand slam, six RBI, and three runs, Zach Ball was 3-5 with a RBI and two runs, Brandin Frazier was 2-5 with a RBI and three runs, and Bobby Mettler was 3-4 with two doubles, three RBI, and two runs. Brennan Kelley struck out seven in three innings of work allowing two runs on three hits. 

More Highlights

Alexandria 10 Liberty Christian 0 – Chet Maynard struck out 12, throwing all six innings allowing just one hit. Trey Stokres was 3-4 with two doubles, a RBI, and two runs, Matthew Etherington doubled, drove in one, and scored three times, and Isaac Granger was 2-3 with a RBI and three runs. 

Chesterton 6 Crown Point 5 – Anthony Kurek went 2-4 with three RBI, Ethan Conway went 1-4 with two RBI and a run, Owen Halas doubled and scored twice, and Isaac Shook was 1-2 with two runs. 

Decatur Central 6 Mooresville 4 – Lucas Kahre was 2-2 with a RBI and a run, Alex Mitchell was 1-3 with a RBI and a run, Austin Mitchell was 1-3 with a double and a RBI, and Cooper Harrington was 2-4 with a run.

Dairon Edmond was 1-3 with two RBI and a run, Manuel Perez was 1-1 with a triple, RBI, and three runs, Alejandro Perez had a hit and three RBI, Chris Boone was 1-1 with a RBI and two runs, and Thomas Magallanez was 1-3 with two RBI and two runs. 

Eastern Hancock 7 Hauser 2 – Tom Barton was 4-4 with two RBI and a run, Addison True doubled and drove in two, Clayton White was 1-2 with a RBI, and AJ Muegge was 2-5 with two runs. White got the win throwing five innings allowing two runs and striking out three. 

Edgewood 6 North Putnam 4 – Connor Morton went 3-4 with a RBI and a run, Tanner Kolbe had two doubles and scored twice, Mac Kido was 1-2 with a RBI and a run, and Ryan Pursell was 1-3 with two RBI and a run. Phillip Terrell picked up the win throwing four innings allowing two runs and striking out four. 

Evansville Mater Dei 5 Evansville Bosse 0 – Mitchell Shelton allowed just two hits in six innings to get the win, striking out nine. Josh Hueck homered and drove in three, Rob Bow had two doubles, and Jackson Pokorney was 2-3 with a triple, RBI, and two runs. 

Frontier 11 Fountain Central 3 – AJ Hall went 3-4 with two doubles, three RBI, and two runs, Zach Oaks was 3-4 with a double and a run, Zeb Davis was 2-3 with three RBI and a run, and Cole Fester was 2-3 with a RBI and two runs. 

Greenwood 10 Martinsville 0 – TJ Bass was 1-2 with a grand slam and five RBI, Reid Werner was 3-3 with two RBI and two runs, and Preston Ley was 1-3 with a RBI and a run. Jordan Martin threw all five innings to get the win allowing just one hit and striking out seven. 

Hebron 4 Wheeler 1 – Chad Patrick was dominant on the mound striking out 15 in a complete game win, allowing one run on three hits. 

Heritage 6 FW North Side 3 – William Lomow went 4-4 with a double, two RBI, and two runs, Jacque Jacquay was 2-3 with a double and a RBI, Robert Lomow was 2-3 with a RBI and a run, and Andrew Saalfrank was 1-4 with two RBI and a run. Saalfrank threw three perfect innings, striking out seven. 

Heritage Hills 3 Evansville Memorial 2 – Nathan Lamar threw six innings allowing one earned run, five hits, and struck out eight. Kenton Crews was 2-4 with two runs, Casey Miller was 1-2 with a RBI, Bryer Bryant had a RBI, and Mitchel Becher was 1-3 with a run. 

Lafayette Jefferson 5 Kokomo 2 – Alex Albrecht went 2-3 with two RBI and a run, Nick McCalment was 1-2 with a RBI and two runs, and Justin Walker doubled and drove in a run. 

Lapel 8 Elwood 2 – Dustin Dowden threw six innings to get the win allowing three hits, no earned runs, and struck out seven. Jaxon Shirley homered and drove in two, Caden Shirley was 2-4 with a double, RBI, and a run, Austin Begley was 2-3 with a RBI and a run, and Dowden was 2-4 with a RBI and a run. 

LaPorte 6 Merrillville 1 – Jon Williams threw a complete game to get the win allowing one run on six hits, striking out six. 

Lawrence Central 4 Ben Davis 2 – Spencer Youngourt struck out 14 in a complete game win allowing four hits and no earned runs. Jalen Jones was 2-3 and Youngcourt was 1-2 with a RBI and a run scored. 

McCutcheon 5 Logansport 4 – McCutcheon scored three in the bottom of the seventh to get the win, with Dylan Henning bringing in the winning run. Jackson Smeltz was 2-4 with a RBI, Brady Douglas and Matt Sherlow each had a hit and a RBI, and Billy Loft and Josh Maddox each went 2-3 with a run. 

New Castle 10 Rushville 0 – Mason Gillis went 2-3 with a double, homerun, four RBI, and two runs, Garrett Welch was 3-4 with two doubles, three RBI, and a run, and Dylan Darling was 2-2 with two runs. Nick Jones was 1-3 with a RBI and a run and Caleb Matthews was 1-2 with a double and a RBI. 

North Daviess 14 Shoal 2 – Shannon Chesterfield was 2-2 with a RBI and three runs, Chris Reed was 2-2 with two RBI and a run, Nate Tippery was 2-4 with a RBI and two runs, and Austin Markel had a double, RBI, and two runs. 

Providence 13 Salem 1 – Griffin Libs threw 4.1 innings allowing four hits, one unearned run, and struck out five. Jake Lewis and Tim Borden each hits homeruns and Jay Lorenz and Reece Davis each had a double and three RBI. 

SB Adams 6 Glenn 1 – Brandon Martens struck out 13 in a complete game win, allowing one run on three hits. Nick Day was 2-2 with two runs, Martens was 3-3 with a RBI, James Schell was 1-2 with two RBI, and Breckin Brown was 1-3 with two RBI and a run. 

SB St. Joseph 2 New Prairie 1 – Ryan Fraser threw a complete game allowing one run on four hits, striking out four. Ryan Mannell was 1-3 with a RBI and Daniel Torres was 2-3. 

Seeger 16 North Vermillion 10 – Bennett Sprague had a big day at the plate going 4-5 with a double, eight RBI, and a run. Aidan Hoskins was 4-5 with a RBI and three runs, Josh Orahood was 3-4 with a RBI ad four runs, and Adam Peterson was 2-4 with three RBI and a run. 

Shenandoah 8 Cowan 3 – Coult McWilliams was 3-4 with a homerun, two RBI, and two runs, Cody Rudy was 2-4 with a homerun and two runs, and Justin Patton was 3-3 with two doubles, a RBI, and a run. 

South Adams 1 FW Canterbury 0 – Adams got two strong pitching performances in the win. Justin Hussbaum went four innings allowing one hit and striking out six and Grant Besser struck out eight of the nine hitters he faced picking up the win. Hussbaum was 2-2 with a double and run and Jayden Dull was 1-2 with a RBI. 

South Ripley 4 Jac-Cen-Del 0 – Avery Holcomb threw a three hit complete game shutout to get the win, striking out six. Chad Turner was 1-3 with two RBI, Holcomb was 1-3 with a RBI and a run, and Jackson Cornett was 2-4. 

Southern Wells 8 Eastbrook 5 – Evans Huffman had a big day at the plate going 2-3 with a two run homerun and a grand slam. Elijah Barkell was 2-4 with a run, Dustyn Baumgartner was 1-3 with a RBI and a run, and Bryce Paxson was 1-3 with a run. 

Southwestern 8 Shawe Memorial 0 – Jayde Ary threw a one hit complete game shutout, striking out three. Tristan Wheatley was 2-4 with two RBI and a run, Arie Mitchell was 2-4 with two RBI and two runs, and Connor Stewart was 1-3 with a RBI and a run.
