The Week #7 player of the week honor goes to Mitchell Dean (Western HS). The Louisville recruit threw 7 innings for the panthers striking out 14, allowing 3 hits, 1 walk, and 1 earned run. The senior was also 9 for 11 at the plate with 2 home runs, 4 doubles, 12 runs batted in, and 7 runs scored.

Charlie Baker, RHP/1B, 2023, North Central HS

Baker had an outstanding week and was our “runner-up” for player of the week. The senior two-way standout threw a no-hitter against Ben Davis in his start on the mound, racking up 8 K’s. Baker also went 8 for 13 (.615) at the dish with 3 doubles, 2 homeruns, while driving in 7. 

 

 

Chase Bays, INF/RHP, 2024, Mishawaka Marian HS

Bays hit .535 throughout the week, including 5 doubles, a HR, 7 RBI, and 9 runs scored. Bays also picked up the win against South Bend Adams, throwing 6 shutout innings.

 

Mason Weaver, RHP/INF, 2024, Homestead HS

The junior right-hander picked up a complete game shutout win against #9 Fort Wayne Carroll, striking out 9 and allowing just 4 H and 0 BB, along with batting .500 on the week.

 

Zane Cline, RHP/SS, 2025, Delta HS

Cline makes this list for the second consecutive week after another dominant performance on the bump, this week striking out 14 in a complete game, 1-hit win. 

Gavin Lash, RHP/SS, 2023, Wapahani HS

Lash had a huge week on the mound for Wapahani. The senior right-hander threw a no-hitter against Daleville, striking out 13 and allowing just one walk. Later in the week, Lash picked up a complete game win against Delta to lead Wapahani to the Delaware Co. Championship. In total, Lash was 2-0 on the week with 14 IP, 6 H, 1 BB, 20 K, 0 ER.

Corbin Payne, LHP/OF, 2023, Lafayette Harrison HS

Payne logged 8 ⅔ IP for the Raiders, striking out 15 batters and allowing just 6 H. The John A. Logan recruit was 1-0 on the week, maintaining a 1.60 ERA.

Zac Stawski, OF, 2023, South Bend Saint Joseph HS

Stawski went 7 for 12 (.583) with 4 doubles, 6 RBI, and 4 runs scored.

 

 

 

 

Logan Connor, RHP, 2024, Greenwood HS

Connor was 1-0 on the week with a save for the Woodmen. The junior righty worked 7 IP, allowing just 3 H, 1 ER, 2 BB, while striking out 12. 

Evan Lanphier, RHP, 2024, Cascade HS

Lanphier worked 11 ⅓ IP for Cascade this week while picking up 2 wins, including a complete game win, striking out 11 batters in total. 

Kaden Rose, OF, 2023, Mishawaka HS

Rose helped the Cavemen to a 4-0 week, going 6 for 12 (.500) at the plate with a 2B, 3 SB, 4 RBI, and 6 runs scored.

 

 

 

Keegan Miller, LHP/OF, 2024, Fairfield HS

The junior left-hander was 2-0 last week, including a complete game win. In total, Miller threw 12 ⅓ IP, racking up 13 Ks, allowing just 2 ER.

 

 

Lane Wilson, RHP/CIF, 2025, Monroe Central HS

Wilson had a strong week on both sides of the ball, throwing 7 IP with 10 K and 0 BB in his start on the mound. He also was 5 for 10 (.500) at the dish, picking up 2 RBI. 

Parker Smith, SS/RHP, 2023, DeKalb HS

Smith picked up the win in a complete game shutout performance, striking out 14 in 7 IP. The Wabash recruit went 8 for 18 (.444) with 2 2B, 7 RBI, and 3 runs scored.

 

 

Max Clark, CF, 2023, Franklin Community HS

Yet again, Max Clark had another outstanding week. He was 6 for 7 (.857) with a 2B, a 3B, a HR, and 6 runs scored. Clark also walked 6 times - getting on-base at a .923 clip for the week.

 

Alex Schuler, SS, 2024, Borden HS

Schuler has another strong week, landing on this list once again. The junior SS went 11 or 20 (.550) with 3 2B, a 3B, a HR, 10 RBI, and 6 runs scored.

 

 

Rylee Singleton, 1B, 2023, Evansville North HS

The power-hitting 1B went 8 for 12 (.667) with a 2B, 2 HR, and 13 RBI - helping the Huskies to a 3-1 week.

 

 

 

Blaine Nunnally, RHP/SS, 2023, New Palestine HS

Nunnally threw 7 IP to pick up a win in his start on the mound this week, striking out 11, allowing just 0 ER, 4 hits, and 0 walks. 

 

 

Aidan Pearson, LHP, 2024, South Bend John Adams HS

The junior southpaw threw 7 ⅔ IP on the week, allowing just 5 hits, 0 ER, 2 BB, and striking out 14 - including a complete game win against Portage Central.
