The All State Games are being hosted today at the University of Arkansas Little Rock. The games feature 96 players from all corners of the state. Here's our breakdown from game one:

Northwest vs Southeast

Top of the 1^st

2016 Sam Willis leads off the game with a single to right-field. He advanced to second on a wild-pitch. 2017 MIF Hayes Cox followed with a walk. 2016 C Caleb Regan hit into a fielder’s choice to the pitch for the first out of the inning. 2019 MIF Jackson Huskey was hit by the pitch. 2017 Cooper Van Kooten grounds into a fielder’s choice at home. Regan and Huskey score on 2019 Peyton Holt groundball to second that was misplayed. 2016 LHP/OF Gunner Gilbert flies out to end the inning.

2017 Caleb Horton strikes out to lead off the bottom of the 1^st. 2017 MIF/RHP Cole Morgan grounds out to short stop for out number 2. 2017 MIF Casey Martin reaches on an error to extend the inning. Northwest 2 Southeast 1

2016 RHP Garry Hill pitched 2 innings giving up 2 runs both unearned 2 hits while striking one. He pitched off his fastball 84-86 mph touching 87 mph. He mixed in a curveball and changeup. He threw his curveball 68 mph and his changeup 78-80 mph

2016 RHP Kasey Ford pitched 2 innings allowing just 1 run on 1 hit. He had two strike outs he threw his fastball 83-85 mph from a low ¾ arm slot. He complimented his fastball with a breaking ball of 71-73 mph.

2016 Drake Streeter pitched two shutout innings striking out 3 hitters. He pounded the strike zone with a fastball of 78-80 mph a curveball 66-68 mph and a changeup of 70 mph

Bottom of the 4th

2018 CIF/RHP Will Richardson leads off the 4th with a single up the box followed by a 2016 C Austin Powell walk. 2016 Caleb Carr reaches on a walk as well. 2016 Garry Hill hits a single to right to score Richardson. 2018 Kaleb Hill draws a walk that plates Powell. Carr Scores on a wild pitch. 2017 Caleb Horton draws a walk. 2017 MIF Cole Morgan hits into a fielder’s choice driving home Hill. Haven Hunter reaches on an error. NWA works out of bases loaded jam with a 6-4-double play.

2016 Michael King worked 81-83 mph commanding a curveball at 71 mph.

2017 Quinn Cherry is struck out to start the 5th. 2016 OF Thomas Broyles reaches on infield single. 2016 Sam Willis reaches on a walk. 2017 MIF Hayes cox pops out to the second baseman for the second out. 2016 C Caleb Regan flies out to center to end the inning.
