Spencer TinkelAt No. 35 in the PA Class of 2015 rankings, RHP/3B Spencer Tinkel is one of the top uncommitted prospects in the state. The 6-foot-3, 190-pound two-way prospect earned three wins on the mound as a sophomore at New Hope-Solebury HS and registered 40 strikeouts in 35 innings of work. Tinkel hit .500 for the season with seven doubles, a triple, a home run and 30 RBI.

Tinkel emerged as one of the top right-handed arms in the class with a stellar performance at the PA Underclass Games in July. The 6-foot-3, 185-pound righty sat 83-85 with late run and sink to his fastball. Tinkel also commanded a 75 mph slider and a 76 mph changeup thrown at near fastball arm speed. He worked four hitless innings, striking out eight of the final 10 batters he faced. Tinkel also showed some two-way abilities with an 83 mph bat exit velocity and a solid 80 mph throwing arm across the diamond.

The junior has drawn significant interest from Division I programs and appears primed for a big high school season this coming spring.
