#16 Snow Hill Eagles

The Eagles were one of the top teams in 1A a season ago and were one win away from a matchup with Clear Spring for the State Championship. A team built around grit and determination found success all season long, and we look for that same kind of mindset in 2023. This year's team will be slightly different, as one of the top batterymates in the state in right-handed pitcher Colby Heiser and Brenner Gursky have departed to college. 

Look for two-ways Cole Swift (Radford) and Junior righty Garrett Williams to get the load of the innings on the bump this season, with Sophomores Dominic Kuipers and Justin Shipley providing depth. Offensively, look for Swift, Williams, Danner Swift and Raiden Leonard to provide depth and balance throughout the lineup with younger players playing a pivotal role this season.
