#24 Catoctin Cougars

The Cougars come into 2023 looking to avenge a Region Final loss to Clear Spring a year ago, and the departure of last year's Seniors Noland Kinna (Southern Maryland), Logan Simanski and ace Dalton Williams (High Point) won't make it easy. With that being said, they bring back 1/2 of the two-headed monster from last year's rotation in Senior Joe McMannis (Maryland). McMannis will look to lead the Cougars not only on the bump, but offensively as well where he consistently proves he can handle the bat. Behind McMannis on the bump, look for Senior Peyton Castellow, Juniors Ethan Georgeoff, Gavin Watkins and Garrett Worth, along with Sophomore Jacob Bell to provide well needed depth. The loss of  Logan Simanski and Dylan Nicholson offensively points to McMannis, Connor Crum and Bryont Green to carry the load with the sticks. 

If the offense can spark a few runs consistently for the Cougars this season, look for this pitching rotation to lead Catoctin deep into the playoffs in 2023.
