MPB Fall Classic Underclass All Tournament Team

The inaugural MPB Fall Classic took place at the brand new Creekside complex last weekend in Kansas City. Top teams from nine different states throughout the Great Plains and Midwest were in attendance with over fifty schools on hand to take in the action along with Missouri Scouting Director Kevin Moulder and Andy Urban. There was no shortage of prospects to cover, leading to over 100 players being spotlighted individually on Twitter. Below is the Underclass All Tournament Team:

 

 

CATCHER

 

 

TJ Schuyler, C, Hitters, 2023

 

 

 

FIRST BASE

Jack Holubowski, 1B, STL Prospects, 2023

6-foot-2, 190-pound athletic frame. At the plate, Holubowski showed his power ability with an exit velocity of 91 mph. During setup, has a slow load then uses a controlled stride. Has flat swing plane, electric bat speed and good extension on his finish. He Barreled up lots of balls with tons of loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Projectable while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 77 mph; showed sure hands, consistent feet and a clean exchange. Showed a high ¾ slot and a short arm action with consistent accuracy to the bag. During the event, clocked a 60 time of 7.33.

Running action.CB: 64-68 mph. 11/5 movement CH: 70-73 mph. Fading action SL: 68-69 mph. Tight action, 10/4 movement. Upside on the mound, turned in 7IP, 4 hits with 10K’s in outing vs talented STL Prospects Underclass lineup
