March is finally here and baseball tryouts have officially hit the ground running for Public Schools across the Old Line State. This year, we have decided to keep the same format as last year as we will keep two separate rankings throughout the Spring season. All Maryland Private schools will be considered in this year's weekly PBR Maryland Private Schools Top 10 rankings while only Public schools will be considered in our traditional PBR Maryland Public Schools Power 25. An update to these rankings will be released every Monday throughout the season.

Season Snapshot

The Wildcats enter the season deep in pitching, led by their senior leaders Christopher Beatty Jr (Messiah University), Corbin Warner (Naval Academy), Jake Long (Wilson College), Garrett Kuhn, and Kyle Wortz. Additionally on the bump, the Wildcats will have the likes of Juniors Gary Gubbings III and Caden Houck to add even more stability to an already very respectable rotation. With a few injury issues on the pitching staff last year, look for the senior arms to hit the ground running from day one.

Offensively, Arundel brings back a slew of threats; especially experienced outfielders with the likes of Jake Long (Wilson College), Chris Ricks and Corbin Warner (Naval Academy). Seniors John Greenwalt, Kam Branche, and Thomas Loughry will also bring stability to the lineup, while junior two-way Gary Gubbings III is poised to have a breakout year on both sides of the ball.
