March is finally here and baseball tryouts have officially hit the ground running for Public Schools across the Old Line State. This year, we have decided to keep the same format as last year as we will keep two separate rankings throughout the Spring season. All Maryland Private schools will be considered in this year's weekly PBR Maryland Private Schools Top 10 rankings while only Public schools will be considered in our traditional PBR Maryland Public Schools Power 25. An update to these rankings will be released every Monday throughout the season.

Season Snapshot

Coach Dennis Ahearn enters his 20th season and is looking at a slightly different roster than the one just a year ago. Coach Ahearn and the Eagles will rely heavily on their core nucleus, led by the likes of the Ahearn brothers in two-way standout Cadeyrn Ahearn and catcher Qwynn Ahearn. 

On the bump, Centennial will turn to Cadeyrn Ahearn to lead the pitching staff in 2022, followed by an experienced Sophomore in Zach Harris and Junior righty Carter Watson. Look for a plethora of younger players in the program to step up and provide some valuable innings for Coach Ahearn on the bump. 

Offensively, the Eagles will be led by Cadeyrn Ahearn and Qwynn Ahearn, with a core nucleus of younger players providing depth throughout the lineup. Look for Junior outfielder Carter Watson to provide the depth throughout the lineup.
