Mingo Bay Classic Begins Today

The Mingo Bay Classic begins today with 18 teams from the Mountaineer State set for a week of competition in Myrtle Beach, SC playing against teams from six other states.

                                                          

Prep Baseball Report will be in attendance for the three days of pool play (April 14-16) as well as the semi-final round of action on April 17. Championship play is scheduled to take place on April 18 with April 19 acting as a rain make-up date.

The original scouting schedule posted a week ago has been altered dramatically following an update to the tournament schedule.  In addition, weather concerns that could affect play on Tuesday were also taken into consideration.

10:00 Elkins vs. Caldwell Academy (NC)
12:00 East Fairmont vs. Watertown (NY)
