Missouri 2023 Rankings Updated

The PBR Missouri 2023 Class Rankings have been updated after a baseball packed summer. Through loaded events and talent rich tournaments at our new Creekside facility and Lakepoint where many Missouri teams traveled to compete, we were able to get our eyes on more prospects more times than ever before. Check out the top prospects, risers, newcomers, and fully expanded rankings, below.
The Top
The Missouri 2023 class is one of the deepest classes the state has seen both in terms of top end talent and depth. Here are the three that are currently leading the group.

Addison Smith SS / Liberty, MO / 2023The #1 player in the state not only was a a riser in the Missour class rankings but also shot up the national rankings moving up to #33. The switching hitting SS opened eyes at the Future Games and proved to be one of the nations top defensive short stops. Commitment: Texas A&M |

Brett Norfleet RHP / Francis Howell, MO / 2023The 6'7 RHP is about everything you are looking for in a pitcher. The athletic big man has a dominating fastball that will top out at 91, with still plenty of projectability and development in front of him. Camron Poe LHP / Christian Brothers College, MO / 2023The ultra projectable 6'2 LHP has a world of upside possessing a clean fluid arm action with a fastball already topping out at 90 mph. Poe also has a plus curveball with rpm's sitting in the 2750-2900 range. Like a lot of young arms is still working on finding command of his plus arsenal. Commitment: Uncommitted |
The Newcomers
A large group of new talent was introduced to the Missouri 2023 rankings. Below are three that are at the top of the list.

Kaiden Wilson LHP / Raymore-Peculiar, MO / 2023Perhaps no one had a more eye opening performance at the Future Games than WIlson. The LHP showed an impressive mix with a fastball sitting in the upper 80's topping at 90 and a 76 mph curveball. Commitment: LSU |

Adam Hachman 1B / Timberland, MO / 2023Rankings StateRank: 10 / POS: 1
The 6'3 LHP burst on the scene this summer racking up some impressive stat lines at a couple PBR events. Has topped at 86 but it doesn't take much of an imagination to see where things are heading for the upside LHP. Commitment: Uncommitted

Lane Harris LHP / Francis Howell Central , MO / 2023Rankings StateRank: 19 / POS: 4
The young athletic LHP recently gained attention by establishing himself as having one of the top curveballs in the country with spin rates consistently 2900 and as high as 3000+. A strike thrower who has recently taken a velocity jump and now works 80-83, it will not be surprising to see another good jump by next summer. Commitment: Uncommitted

There has been a lot of development both physically and skill wise which will continue to happen over the next couple of years for these players. Here is a look at some of the players who have taken significant jumps recently.

Tate McGuire RHP / Liberty North, MO / 2023The 6'3 RHP shot up the rankings especially nationally with a couple impressive outings this summer. McGuire has a good feel for his 4 pitch mix FB/Ch/Cb.Sl running his fastball as high as 91. Commitment: Arkansas

One of the top pure hitters in the state, Wemhoff has shown a knack for putting quality at bats together with a good bat speed and a gap to gap approach. Commitment: Uncommitted |

Myles Kruger SS / Kirkwood, MO / 2023Rankings StateRank: 30 / POS: 7
A plus defender at SS with good hands and footwork, showed well at the Fall Missouri Underclass Games. One of the top uncommitted true SS in the class. Commitment: Uncommitted |

Tripp Johns 3B / Lafayette , MO / 2023Rankings StateRank: 35 / POS: 3
A left handed bat that has show the ability to hit for power (95 exit vlo) Put on an impressive BP display at the Fall Missouri Underclass Games showing off pull side power. Commitment: Uncommitted |
