The Missouri high school baseball season is underway. Up to the start of the season, our staff collected various amounts of information on teams across the state. We previewed several teams as 'Opening Day' approached, including the top-10 teams in both our large school and small school rankings.

Our rankings are broken up into two divisions: large school and small schools. We classify the 'large' schools as those residing in Class 5 & 6, while the small schools make up the remaining MSHSAA classifications. We rank what we believe to be the top-10 teams in the state at that level, as well as highlighting several 'On Deck' teams.

We've updated our individual 'Large School' and 'Small School' rankings with another week of games played across the state. There is a bit of movement in this update, especially on the 'Large School' list:

+ Blue Springs South climbs from No. 3 to No. 1, with Liberty North and Francis Howell slotting in behind them at two and three, respectively.

+ Jackson, Fort Zumwalt West, and Nixa all climb as well. The Indians now sit at No. 4, with the Jaguars behind them at No. 5, and the Eagles jumping one spot to No. 7.

+ There wasn't any movement on the 'Small School' top 10, aside from Valle Catholic jumping into the 10th and final spot on the list.
