Mokan Top Prospect Games Leader Board Curveball Metrics: (Trackman Pitchers)

The MoKan Top Prospect Games took place on June 22nd at Creekside Baseball Park in Parkville Missouri. A full event of 53 players, including some of the top players from the 2022 graduating class, showed out with some eye popping numbers. Today we take a look at the top curveballs from the event with metrics recorded by Trackman.
The firmest curveball from the event belonged to Landon Reith at 78.15 mph. Jake Daneff landing the curveball at 76.75 mph and Kade Billier posting a curveball at 72.96 mph.
The top average spin rate was posted by Wyatt Foley at 2237 RPM. Landon Reith came in at 2194 RPM from the left side with Daneff's average spin rate at 2128 RPM.
The largest horizontal break average from the event belonged to Aiden Brooks at 14.3 inches of east/west action. Wyatt Foley also posted an impressive 12 inches of horizontal break. Foley also had the highest average induced vertical break at 10.6 inch average of vertical depth. Daneff's curveball came in at 8.6 inches of average break.
Landon Reith had the top peak Bauer Unit from the event at 35 Bauer units with Foley and Russell Lucas III coming in at 31 Bauer Units. Bauer units are calculated by the spin rate divided by the pitch's velocity.
