PBR: Why did you choose Wayne State?

I really liked Coach Koch and Coach Larson from the first time I had met them. They are easy to talk to and they care a lot about winning. I love how the campus is set up with all the athletic facilities being so close to each other. I feel like we can win a lot of championships up there

PBR: What other schools were you considering?

I was talking to Upper Iowa and Truman State. I was also talking a lot to Concordia.

PBR: Where did the coaching staff first see you?

I met Coach Koch and Coach Larson at the Wayne State hittrax hitting league and we started to talk after that.

PBR: Was there one deciding factor that put your choice over the top?

After my visit this summer and getting to spend even more time with the coaching staff and seeing the school and facilities I knew that it was a good fit for me and I was ready to commit.

PBR: Who has helped you the most to get to where you are today?

My parents have been the biggest part of all this with spending a lot of their time and money investing into me. But also my high school coach Shawn Emanuel he had a lot of faith in me as a baseball player. Mike Sillman, Jeff Liese, Dwayne Hosey, Payton Lewis were also guys that really helped me develop into a better player

PBR: What plans does the coaching staff have in store for you in your freshman season?

They look at me as a utility player, they tell me to keep working hard to develop my game.

PBR: What is your most memorable baseball moment to date?

After losing the first game in districts during Junior Districts we had to beat Blair twice to make it to state for the first time.

PBR: Who is the best player in the state you have competed against?

The duo of Drew Chirsto and Trey Frahm. Chirsto is one of the best pitchers I have ever seen. Also my good buddy Trey Frahm I have learned a lot from him he works as hard as anybody I have ever seen.
