Canton (1-1) edges Oliver Ames (0-1) 10-9 in 8 innings.

Georgetown (1-0) upends Amesbury (1-1) 4-3.

Holyoke Catholic (1-0) defeats Gateway Regional (0-1) 4-2.

Durfee (2-0) doubles up Portsmouth (2-1) 6-3.

  • Alex Benevides goes 3-4 at the plate with 2 doubles and 2 RBIs.

Dorchester defeats South Boston 5-2.

Latin Academy defeats Boston English 6-3.

Snowden defeats Fenway 16-2.

Drury (1-0) defeats Brattleboro (0-1) 4-3.

  • Kody Crosier works a spotless 7th to pick up the save, striking out 2.
