It was over when: Joe Flynn started warming up.
Flynn (Ward Melville) threw a complete game allowing three hits while striking out 15 Brentwood hitters. Flynn helped his cause at the plate going 2-2 with a RBI and two walks.

The No. 12 ranked Class AA school Shaker HS starts the season off with a big win against Lansingburgh HS 14-0 Thursday night.
It was over when: Shaker HS exploded for 14 runs on 15 hits.
Polsinello (Shaker) worked six scoreless innings to pick up the win allowing only four hits. Sean Egan added three hits at the plate, while Tyler Hoffman (shaker) added two hits including a monster homerun.

The No. 13 ranked Class AA Orchard Park HS defeats Gowanda HS Thursday night.
It was over when: Orchard Park HS scored 11 runs between the fifth and sixth inning.
Jeff Palczewski (Orchard Park) went 2-3 at the dish with three RBI’s. Dogal (Orchard Park) worked one scoreless inning to get the victory.

New Rochelle HS tops Mahopac HS 6-4 Thursday night in Class AA action.
It was over when: Mahopac had seven errors equating to six unearned runs.
Gray (New Rochelle) worked seven strong innings allowing only one earned run and striking out five. Carmine Giordano (New Rochelle) went 2-4 at the plate with an RBI.
