Ouachita Baptist University added two right-handed pitchers to their signing class during the early signing period. David Rainwater, Sheridan High School and Michael Andrus, Bentonville High School.

Rainwater is a 6-foot-2 190-pound with a large frame and an athletic build. He works from a High 3/4 arm slot with a quick clean arm He commands a heavy fastball at 81-84 mph up to 86 mph. His curveball has 10/4 shape with late break. He throws his curveball 68-71 mph. His changeup has deception due to the being thrown at near fastball arm speed. He throws it 71-73 mph with arm-side run. His delivery uses rushed rhythm with some effort and head movement. Overall Rainwater is a projectable right-hander with a quick arm and a feel for the breaking ball.

Rainwater is one of 25 players that attended the first PBR Arkansas event. This event was a huge success as now 19 of them have committed to play college baseball.

Andrus is a 6-foot-3 180-pound right-hander with a large frame and an athletic build. He commands the strike zone consistently with his fastball on both sides of the plate. He also shows command of his breaking ball and changeup. He repeats the mechanics of his simply delivery on a consistent basis. Overall Andrus is a large framed player with advanced pitch-ability.
