Head Coach: Jeff Shafer
Years as head coach at school: 4
2017 Overall Record:
 9-23

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Kullen Meadows, 2B, 2018
Kameron Permetter, SS, 2018

Jayden Shafer, 3B, 2019
Byron Thompson, RHP, 2018
Tyler Thompson, RHP, 2020

SEASON OUTLOOK

The 2018 Savages will look to rebound this year, as they are absolutely stack with returners. Tecumseh will return nine starting position players and five arms that tossed over 15 innings a season ago including two all conference selections. Along with the returners the Savages add juniors Andrew Lewis and Tristina Anthony to the mix of players that could have an immediate impact. Savages will likely be lead by seniors Kameron Permetter, Kullen Meadown, and Byron Thompson.

Offensively, Tecumseh will again rely on Jayden Shafer, Meadows and Permetter to be the catalysts in the lineup. On the mound, sophomore Tyler Thompson could lead the staff along with Shafer and Byron Thompson. Defensively, Permetter will captain the infield at short, while Gage Boatman will direct traffic from behind the dish, and Kelsey will likely be the outfield standout.
