Hunter Schmidt, 1B, Newcastle HS (2017)

A 6-foot, 215 pound thick frame. Offensive, right-handed hitter, middle of the field approach, some bat speed. Narrow, upright, relaxed set-up, early stride, small second load, loose hands. Defensively, strong, accurate arm. In-game, lined out twice to center.

Norman Timberwolves (all players from Norman North HS)
Tyler Hankins, 1B (2019)

A 6-foot-5, 230-pound, broad shoulders. Offensively, right-handed hitter, middle-pull approach, some strength. Wide base, slight squat, hands in front of shoulder, moderate stride, short to contact, good extension, quality leg drive. In-game 4.85 home-to-first. Hankins had a day to remember with a deep sac fly to center, 2 RBI double to dead center, a line drive right at the centerfielder, and capped it off with a double in the left-center field gap that also plated a run.

Chance Hughes, RHP (2017)
A 6-foot-1, 180-pound right-handed pitcher, average build. Simple, average effort delivery, a short arm circle, high-3/4 slot. Fastball sits 76-77, keeps its plane, located well. Curveball shows 12/6 shape, used sparingly. Hughes put together a complete game shutout, four strikeouts, only three hits.

Connor Scott, C (2019)
A 5-foot-11, 170-pound, proportional frame. Offensively, right-handed hitter, middle-pull approach. Relaxed, upright stance, some rhythm in hands, moderate stride, flat to contact, good extension, creates backspin. Defensively, blocked well, average receiving. A line drive to left, HBP, and walk had Scott on base in 3 out of 4 plate appearances.

 Jake Simmons, OF (2018)
A 6-foot-2, 168-pound, lean build. Offensively, right-handed hitter, middle of the field approach. Athletic, wide set-up, flat bat path through contact, good hand eye. In-game, walk, sac bunt, two RBI line drive up the middle to break the game open.

 Payton Vinyard, OF (2019)
A 5-foot-9, 135-pound frame. Offensively, right-handed hitter, middle of the field approach. Simple, quiet set-up, stayed on plane through contact. Defensively, showed good routes to the ball. In-game, lead-off, two well placed drag bunts for hits, two walks, reaching base every time, coming around to score twice.

Kade Chinn, RHP, Jones HS (2017)
A 6-foot-2, 175-pound lean frame with room to add strength.  Fluid delivery, clean, 3/4 slot, loose arm out front, release point somewhat inconsistent. Fastball sits 77-80 mph, some sink when arm side. Slider shows lots of depth, 67-69 mph, 10/4 shape, constantly buckling hitters. Change up sat 72 mph, some fade. Chinn finished his day with 7 punch outs in 4 innings or work.

Kyler Rinehart, OF/MIF, Westmoore HS (2017)
A 5-foot-9, 160-pound wiry frame, some strength. Offensively, right-handed hitter, middle-opposite field approach. Wide, relaxed set-up, loose hands, short to contact, stays inside the baseball. Defensively, good lateral movement, average hands. In game, hit lead-off, on base 3 times including a sharp single through the six-hole. Came around to score twice.

Cade Raper, RPH/C (2019)

A 5-foot-10, 150 pound, average build. Offensively, right-handed hitter, middle-pull approach, some bat speed. Wide, athletic stance, slightly uphill path, good hands On the mound, Quick, high energy delivery, 3/4 slot. Fastball sits 75-78, consistent arm-side run. Defensively, average receiver, 2.16 pop between innings. In-game, struck out six in 4 ⅔ innings of work from the mound. Offensively, Raper walked, tripled to center, and a two RBI single in the game.
