Austin Franz, LHP, New Albany HS, 2014

6-foot-5, 180 pounds with a long lanky frame.  On the mound, the southpaw throws through a 3/4 arm slot.  Good tempo.  Will improve velocity as he incorporates lower half.  He offers a 77-80 mph fastball that topped out at 82 mph at times.  He featured two off-speed pitches.  A 64-65 mph curveball that shows 1/7 movement.  He also mixed in a 73-74 mph changeup. 

Brendan Alas, 3B/2B, St. Francis DeSales HS, 2016

6-foot-1, 170 pounds with a long, athletic frame.  In the field, he shows good knowledge of the game and is consistently in the right position.  Average hands.  Tendency to sit back on heels.  Showed accuracy in throws across the diamond.  At the plate, the right handed hitter uses a slightly open stance with short stride.  Displays good weight transfer through contact.  Smoked a ball right at the center fielder in game action.  Linedrive type hitter now, but shows some signs of potential power.

Chris Seibert, LHP/OF, Hudson HS, 2014

5-foot-11, 165 pounds with an average athletic frame.  At the plate, the left handed hitter displays a short compact stroke.  Level swing.  Linedrive type.  Uses the entire field, and singled backside to left field in game action.  On the mound, he throws a high 3/4 slot with short arm action.  Smooth tempo.  Shows some quickness in arm speed.  His 70-74 mph fastball showed some cutting at times.  He also showed good command of a 60-61 mph curveball.  The breaking ball showed good overall depth with 1/7 movement.

Cody Clark, C/RHP, Bellbrook, 2016

5-foot-11, 185 pound right handed hitting catcher.  Likely projects better as a catcher at the next level.  Behind the plate, he throws through a high 3/4 arm slot with short arm action.  Quick transfer.  Topped out at 66 mph on throws down to second.  Registered pop times between 2.09 and 2.29.  At the plate, he uses a balanced straight on stance with short early stride.  Choppy swing but effectively makes contact.  Level swing path.  Linedrive type that can drive the ball to all fields.  On the mound, he uses the same high 3/4 slot with short arm action.  At times, he struggled finding his arm slot.  Threw a 69-70 mph fastball, and a 66 mph curveball with 12/6 movement. 

Connor Coy, OF/RHP, Northmont HS, 2014

6-foot-3, 195 pounds with a tall, long frame.  In the outfield, he throws through a 3/4 arm slot with short arm action.  Clean exchange.  Plays well through the ball.  Topped out at 77 mph from the outfield.  At the plate, the right handed hitter uses a straight on stance with short stride.  Tends to bar arm during load.  Struggles with clearing his hands on the inside pitch.  Showed good pop to center and opposite field.  On the mound, the right hander throws from a 3/4 arm slot with short arm action.  Smooth tempo throughout delivery.  Will only get better as he incorporates more of his lower half.  He offered a straight fastball that sat between 75-77 mph.  He also showed some feel for his 66 mph slider. 

Deric Cain, 2B/RHP, Tecumseh HS, 2014

6-foot-1, 170 pound left handed hitting second baseman.  In the field, he shows above average hands and average footwork.  Offers a somewhat quick release when playing balls to his glove-hand side.  Nearly all throws were on target.  At the plate, the left handed hitter uses an open stance with short stride.  Smooth load.  Short compact swing with slightly uphill bat path.  Linedrive type hitter that uses the entire field.  On the mound, he throws through a high 3/4 arm slot with short stiff arm action.  Moderate arm speed.  Showed good command of his straight 71-73 mph fastball.  Also mixed in two different offspeed pitches.  He used a 62 mph 11/5 tilt curveball, and a 63 mph changeup.

Eddy Hulsman, OF/3B, Willoughby South HS, 2015

6-foot-2, 195 pounds with a strong athletic frame.  In the outfield, he offers average hands, and above average footwork.  Plays well through the ball.  Topped out at 71 mph.  At the plate, he uses a straight on stance with short straight up and down stride.  Strong swing.  Can easily put a ball in the gap when making solid contact.  Pull tendencies in swing.  Did single to left field in game action.

Evan Moores, RHP, Glen Este HS, 2015

6-foot-1, 175 pounds with right handed pitching prospect.  On the mound, he throws through a 3/4 arm slot with short arm action.  Quick arm speed.  Displays some inward rotation at balance point.  Showed a tendency to land closed causing him to throw across his body. His fastball consistently sat between 78-81 mph, while showing arm-side run.  He also mixed in a diving 75 mph changeup.

Greg Campbell, RHP/1B, Olentangy HS, 2016

6-foot-0, 230 pounds with a big, stocky frame.  In the field, he displayed average hands.  Showed the ability to make plays on the run.  Lacks quickness in footwork.  Topped out at 66 mph on throws to third base.  At the plate, he uses a narrow straight on stance with short stride.  Lower half tends to not move throughout swing.  Contact type hitter that uses a relaxed short swing.  On the mound, he throws from a high 3/4 slot with short arm action.  Smooth tempo.  Some effort in delivery.  Offers a 70-72 mph fastball and a 57-60 mph curveball with some depth at 11/5 tilt.  Tendency to slow arm with breaking ball.

Griffin Peyton, OF, Anderson HS, 2014

6-foot-0, 170 pound right handed hitting outfielder.  Strong athletic frame.  In the outfield, he throws from a 3/4 slot with long arm action.  Plays well through the ball, and gets good pace on his throws.  At the plate, he uses a wide stance with short stride.  Tendency to wrap bat during load.  Slightly uphill bat path.  Takes an opposite field approach with linedrive production.  Also showed some good actions on the basepaths.

Jarrod Hall, OF, Hamilton HS, 2014

6-foot-0, 160 pounds with an average athletic frame.  In the outfield, he throws through a 3/4 arm slot with short arm action.  Puts himself in good position to play through the ball.  Average arm strength and accurate with throws from outfield.  At the plate, the left handed hitter uses a balanced straight on stance with short stride.  Tendency to not finish his lower half in swing.  Level bat path.  Contact type hitter that uses a short compact swing. 

Landon Lumbrezer, RHP/C, Evergreen HS, 2015

6-foot-0, 225 pound right handed pitcher. At the plate, he uses a straight on stance with short stride.  The right handed hitter uses a level bat path while keeping a short compact swing.  Linedrive production.  Lower half tends to stay stiff during swing.  On the mound, the right hander throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with short arm action.  Works quick on the hill.  Stuck with his 70-73 mph fastball in his inning of work.  The fastball showed minimal arm-side run. 

Michael Cook, RHP, Milford HS, 2015

6-foot-0, 178 pounds with an average frame.  On the mound, he throws through a low 3/4 arm slot with short arm action.  Quick arm speed.  Hides ball well throughout delivery.    He offered a 78-80 mph fastball that showed consistent arm-side run.  Showed good command of the fastball working both sides of the plate.  Also mixed in a 68-69 mph curveball that displayed some sharpness at 10/4 tilt.

Michael Pagano, C, Pickerington North HS, 2015

5-foot-11, 180 pound left handed hitting catcher.  Solid strong build.  Behind the plate, he throws from a high 3/4 slot with short quick arm action.  Offers a strong arm behind the plate, topping out at 82 mph in a previous PBR showcase.  Footwork continues to show improvement.  Registered pop times between 2.06 and 2.07.  At the plate, the lefty uses a wide straight on stance.  No stride.  Keeps his swing short and compact.  Linedrive type hitter with opposite field production. 

Robbie Gilliland, RHP, Hilliard Davidson, 2014

6-foot-4, 170 pounds with a long lanky frame.  At the plate, he uses a balanced straight on stance with small up and down leg kick.  Needs to incorporate lower half.  Level bat path.  Overall, will give you line drive production to the opposite field.    On the mound, he throws through a high 3/4 arm slot with short arm action.  Smooth tempo.  Some effort in delivery.  Showed an increase in fastball velocity from 76 to now 78 mph.  He also mixed in a 61-63 mph curveball that offers gradual 10/4 break. 

Shane Downey, RHP/3B, Walsh Jesuit HS, 2015

5-foot-11, 195 pounds with a solid strong frame.  In the field, he displays some softness in hands and above average footwork.  Quick release.  Showed accuracy in throws across the diamond.  At the plate, the right handed hitter uses a straight on stance with short stride.  Shows some rhythm in swing.  Level swing path.  Linedrive hitter that occasionally can drive the ball into the gaps.  On the mound, he throws through a 3/4 arm slot with short arm action.  Slow tempo.  Easy effort delivery.  Fastball sat 80-82 mph.  Did also offer a high 70’s fastball as he dropped down to a sideam slot.  Also mixed in a 66-68 mph, 11/5 curveball that showed some sharpness.

Thomas Eslich, C, Massillon Washington, 2015

6-foot-0, 165 pound right handed hitting catcher.  Behind the plate, he displays good receiving skills.  Needs to quicken up transfer.  Also showed above average blocking ability.  Showed accuracy in throws down to 2nd, and recorded a pop time of 2.36 seconds.  At the plate, the right handed hitter displays a smooth level swing that projects linedrive production.  Contact type hitter.  Will continue to improve at the plate as he gets stronger physically.

Tyler Magley, RHP, Liberty Union HS, 2014

5-foot-10, 150 pounds with a small athletic frame.  The right handed pitchers shows short arm action through a high 3/4 slot.  Quick arm speed.  Some effort in delivery.  His fastball sat 80-83 mph and showed some late arm-side run.  His best off speed pitch is his 74-76 mph hard slider.  Caught many hitters off balance with this pitch.  Also mixed in a 75 mph changeup showing some slight fading action.

Zach Bowden, RHP, St. Francis DeSales HS, 2016

6-foot-0, 178 pounds with long lanky frame.  On the mound, the right handed pitcher throws from a 3/4 arm slot with short arm action.  Displays plus arm speed as ball jumps out of his hand.  Smooth tempo.  He offered an 80-83 mph fastball that showed substantial arm-side run.  He also mixed in a 73 mph, 11/5 tilt curveball with some late breaking action. 

Zane Harris, 1B/3B, Mansfield Madison HS, 2016

6-foot-5, 230 pounds with a big strong frame.  In the field, he throws through a near over the top arm slot with short arm action.  Showed accuracy in throws across the diamond.  Needs to improve quickness in footwork.  At the plate, the left handed hitter uses a straight on stance with short stride.  Smooth load.  Uses his strong upper body and drives the ball deep in the outfield.  Drove a ball into the left center gap in game action, showing he can use the whole field.
