Ontario Insider: Tournament 12 - Ontario Black vs BC Orange

Rogers Centre- Ontario-Black looked to pick up a big win with the 6-foot-6 righty, Ben Abram on the mound on Saturday afternoon against the B.C.-Orange, but came up just short, falling 4-3 in a highly contested ballgame.

Ontario were the first to get on the board after Adam Hall drove in Lucas Parente in the first inning with an RBI single. Hall would end the game going 3-for-4, picking up two RBI singles as well as making some stellar plays at short. Kyle Bryan would get the third and final RBI for Ontario on a sacrifice.

On the mound, Abram pitched four innings, allowing three runs on six hits, walking one batter while striking out five. Abram was able to showcase an excellent changeup, as well as some sharp bite on his curveball.

Adam Tulloch came in to finish the game, throwing 2.2 innings, allowing two hits, two walks and the game-winning run on a wild pitch. Despite some struggles against the British Columbia hitters, Tulloch spun a tight breaking ball with some late break at an 1/7 shape.
