Scouting Report

6/12/19 - 6’ 170 -pound frame with broad shoulders. Looks more physical than January event. Starts with feet outside shoulders, rocking into back side to load. Small stride forward to stay square. Middle approach, driving the ball gap to gap. Noticeably more bat speed with exit velo at 91 MPH. Good actions in the field with the ability to stay at SS. Arm strength at 85 across the diamond plays well from different angles as needed, based on throws he makes. Footwork allows to work good hops and be in position to get rid of the ball as needed. 7.12 60.

1/27/19 – Uncommitted. 5’11 165-pound frame with broad shoulder and room for weight. Starts with a square, wide stance, using little weight shift into back side and small stride to unload lower half. Hands work back, just off shoulder as body starts forward. Has enough athleticism and body control to add more movement and create more from body. Middle approach, that will hit for power as strength develops (83 MPH exit velo). Good internal clock, doesn’t rush. Brings ball to center after catch for balance and arm swing. Works to hops well, although can use momentum better to work through the baseball and to add playable arm strength. Arm is at 83 MPH across the infield with good carry. Arm works well with multiple arm slots. Has a chance to stick at SS long term.
