- All*American regains the lead on a Tyler Hoover triple and an RBI ground out from Evan Lewis.

- Alex Gabauer's RBI triple extends the All*American lead in the 5th.

- 2022 SS Noah Sorenson (Scranton Prep) has made several above average plays so far. Athlatic 6-foot, 155-pound frame with the ability to make plays on the move. Just got around a ball in the hole & made a strong throw to get the runner by a step.

- Sorenson can also swing it. His 2 out, 2 RBI double in the 7th ties things at 4.

- A two out, bases loaded single to the gap in left center off the bat of 2021 OF Evan Lewis walks it off. All*American takes Game 2 by a score of 5-4.

- Prospect Notes -

- 2021 RHP Jacob Bazala is in complete control for All*American facing the minimum over two innings. Sitting 82-83 with a feel for four pitches. Good tempo and arm speed.

- 2023 RHP Joseph Curreri shows a great deal of promise. The underclassman is sitting 78-80 early out of a controlled, deliberate delivery. Fastball has some late life and an above average feel for how to pitch is present.

- Andrew Muraco's two out triple ties things up at 2 heading to the 4th inning.

- Gage Gillott on in relief for All*American sitting 81-83 out of a high 3/4 arm slot.

- Pitching duel through two scoreless innings.

- Evin Sullivan's 4th knock of the day give the Generals the 2-0 lead. Sullivan will play for Team PA in the PBR Future Games later this month.

- Jackson Vanesko works around a bases loaded, nobody out jam with a line out and two punch outs to keep the Generals off the board in the 4th.

- 3 hits, a walk and a hit batter leads to three runs as the Baseball Performance Center takes the lead in the bottom of the 4th. Frank Wright picks up his second hit of the game in the inning.

- Andrew Kohl's sac fly with the bases loaded gets the Generals even in the top of the 5th.

- Tony Rossi leads off the 6th with a single and later scores on a wild pitch to give the Generals a 4-3 lead in the 6th.

- 2021 Wagner commit Frank Wright has barreled everything today. Simple approach at the plate has led to a 3-for-3 day.

- Second walk off in as many games. 2023 SS Duke McCarron (Ocean City, NJ) singles to left to drive in two with one out in the bottom of the 7th to lead Baseball Performance Center to a 5-4 win.

- Prospect Notes -

- 2021 LHP Jackson Vanesko looking strong early. 6-foot-4, 190-pounder sitting 80-82 with late life up in the zone.

- 2021 RHP Alex Estrada sitting 84-85 for the Generals with a tight slider at 75-77.

- 2022 left-handed hitter Jack McDermott has swung it well all day. The MIF gets into the hitting zone early and gives him a chance to find lots of barrels.

- 4:30 GAME -

TEAMS 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 R
Baseball Performance Center (NJ)
2 1 0 3 8 0 - 14
Northeast Pride 2022 Select

- Game Notes -

- Baseball Performance Center strings together 5 first inning hits to take a 2-0 lead.

- A double steal in the 2nd extends the Baseball Performance Center lead to 3-0.

- Bradt has yet to allow a hit through 3 innings of work. He's walked four, but has also struck out five.

- Baseball Performance Center plates three more in the 4th on three hits including an RBI triple from Brody Levin.

- 2022 OF Pete Smith breaks up the no-hitter with a lead off single in the bottom of the 4th. A sac fly from 2022 1B David Bernard gets the Northeat Pride on the board and a stolen base with a wild throw makes it a crooked number.

- Prospect Notes

- 2022 RHP Brendan Kenneally is sitting 79-81 early with Some late arm-side run to his fastball.

- 2020 RHP Ben Bradt sitting 84-85 with some funk to his delivery early. Arm action is long in back with some hip swivel. Also flashing a solid slider at 77-78.

- 2020 RHP Sean Duffy, a High Point commit, comes on pumping 88-90 mph fastballs in the 5th. He also flashed solid feel for his 11/5 breaking curveball at 76-77.
