MARYLAND NEWS FROM THE WEEK

Physical backstop with power at the plate and catch and throw ability.

Projectable 6'2'' lefty up to 78 mph off the mound this winter. Easy, fluid stroke at the plate with tremendous upside. Intriguing two-way prospect to follow when things get rolling again.

Our positional breakdown of the 2021 class resumes with LHP's.

Strong, projectable frame and talented two-way player. Ran his fastball up to 86 mph down at LakePoint earlier this Spring and showed an easy swing with plus power from the left side at this year's Preseason All-State.

Highly projectable 6'4'', 200 pound power throwing righty up to 84 mph at this year's Preseason All-State.

Athletic, slick-fielding middle infielder with a really nice gap-to-gap approach at the plate.

Athletic, lanky, projectable two-way prospect in the 2022 class. Showed a quick arm on the bump at this year's Preseason All-State and was up to 83 mph. Has potential at the plate and a quick catch and release behind the dish.
