On Sunday, March 1, 2020; Prep Baseball Report Minnesota will be conducting it's inaugural winter/spring event at the Maverick All-Sports Dome in Mankato, MN. 

This event is designed to allow players to showcase their ability; allowing colleges to identify prospective student-athletes earlier in the recruiting process or find players needed immediately for next year. Players will also be evaluated and considered for updated player rankings along with being considered for future Invite-Only events. The showcase will be featured on the Prep Baseball Report's website, which is subscribed to by more than 900 college coaches. Scouting reports, statistics, and videos will be hosted in player profiles. Top players will also be identified from this event.

Mankato has an exciting player from the 2020 class attending this event. Nick Trucke who is a catcher/outfielder from Watertown-Mayer is currently the 93rd ranked player in MN for the 2020 class.  A 6-foot, 185-pound player who has shown strength gains since his first event back in the fall of 2018. Trucke runs a 7.03 60 time, has a 2.13 pop time to go along with 74 mph arm strength from behind the plate. He could be a solid late grab for a school looking for a multi-position guy.
