PBR Ontario Spotlight Game: 15u EBLO Consolation Recap

Pan Am Field – The Pickering-Ajax Cubs and the West Toronto Wildcats squared off in the ‘B’ Championship game of the EBLO 15u Showcase Tournament.

The Cubs opened up the scoring in the bottom of the first pushing across 4 runs with base hits coming from Josh Kumar, Ryan Leitch, Justin Groves and Noah Hull.

The Cubs starter Jake Rogers was excellent in his outing going six scoreless before handing the ball to reliever Gabriel Moreno to finish off the last frame.

As the Cubs pitching staff continued to shut down the Wildcats offense the Cubs pushed together four more insurance runs in the fifth with base hits from Leitch and Groves. With the excellent pitching, the Cubs had more than enough run support as they became the ‘B’ Champions with an 8-0 win over the Wildcats.

Josh Kumar    – 2 for 3, 2B, 2 SB

Ryan Leitch    – 2 for 2, 2 SB
