Western Albemarle Warriors Varsity nabbed the lead late in the game in a 7-3 victory over Albemarle on Thursday. The game was tied at three with Western Albemarle Warriors Varsity batting in the top of the fifth when Michael Holzwarth singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run. Albemarle scored three runs in the third inning, but Western Albemarle Warriors Varsity still managed to pull out the victory. The big inning for Albemarle came thanks to by Jack McMullan and a double by Will Coleman. Western Albemarle Warriors Varsity knotted the game up at three in the top of the fourth inning. Western Albemarle Warriors Varsity scored two runs when Trevor Vernon homered.

Benedictine collected eight hits on the day. Neighbors and Fletcher all had multiple hits for Benedictine. Benedictine didn't commit a single error in the field. Fletcher had the most chances in the field with ten. Benedictine stole eight bases during the game as two players stole more than one. Terrance Rhodes led the way with two.

Lincoln Lubsen was brilliant on the hill on Saturday, as Lubsen threw a no-hitter to lead Walsingham Academy Trojans Varsity past Steward 1-0. The pitching was strong on both sides. Lubsen struck out 11, while Steward pitchers sat down one. Lubsen earned the victory on the pitcher's mound for Walsingham Academy Trojans Varsity. The righthander lasted seven innings, allowing zero hits and zero runs while striking out 11 and walking one. Roberson took the loss for Steward. The bulldog allowed three hits and one run over five innings, striking out one. Cody Christman went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Walsingham Academy Trojans Varsity in hits.
