No. 9 Seneca Valley 9,  No. 14 Central Catholic 5
In a game postponed due to lightning yesterday, Seneca Valley took their 2-0 lead today and added to it for the win.  SV advances to the WPIAL AAAA Championship against Mt. Lebanon.


District 6 Playoff Scores:

Central Mountain 8,  Mifflin County 3

Hollidaysburg 3, Forest Hills 2
Chris Storm's RBI single in the bottom of the 7th inning sends Hollidaysbug (13-8) to AAA Championship.


District 10 Playoff Scores:

Cathedral Prep 16,  Meadville 1
Prep was led by Eli Flynn’s three-run home run in the 2nd inning which jump started an offensive barrage that led to the mercy rule.

Grove City 1,  Harbor Creek 0
GC pitcher Matt Gordon went the distance for the shutout striking out 12.  The sophomore was in control throughout touching 84MPH several times.

Sharon 13,  Fairview 6

Titusville 15,  Union City 2

No. 24 Saegertown 5,  Northwestern 4
Austin Scere had four hits to lead Saegertown (20-1) to the victory and a spot in the AA semi-finals.

District 3 Playoff Scores:

Red Land 3,  Cumberland Valley 0

Penn Manor 3,  Dallastown 1
Penn Manor pulled off the upset to move to 12-9 on the season.

Lampeter-Strasburg 2,  Shippensburg 1
Peter Darrenkamp went the distance to pick up the win for LS (17-6).  All three runs were scored in the first inning.

No. 16 Northern York 3,  Palmyra 1

West Perry 5,  Hamburg 3
Dalton Reapsome got the win and Ben Dum picked up the save for West Perry (20-2). Hamburg ends their season at 17-5.

Delone Catholic 9,  Boilings Springs 1
DC (18-4) moved on to the next round with the dominating win.

District 11 Playoff Scores:

No. 8 Liberty 16,  Pleasant Valley 6
Liberty (20-3) used a 16 hit attack to down Pleasant Valley in five innings. James McCarthy led the Liberty offense with two doubles and six RBI.

Whitehall 3,  Freedom 0
Jacob Wloczewski pitched a complete game five-hitter to lead Whitehall (12-9) to the win.

No. 7 Nazareth 2,  Emmaus 1
Both teams scored a run in the first inning and the game stayed that way until Nazareth (19-4) scratched out a run in the bottom of the 7th for the win.

North Schuylkill 5,  Northwestern Lehigh 3
Brandon McCloskey led the offense with a triple and a home run as North Schuylkill topped NW Lehigh in nine innings.

Pottsville 1,  Bethlehem Catholic 0
Ryan Tobin doubled and pitched a complete game two-hitter to lead Pottsville to victory

Williams Valley 11,  Pen Argyl 6
Ronnie Daub and Logan Fetterhoff hit home runs to lead Williams Valley to the win.
