Seth Grant, LHP, Homeschool, 2015

Grant is a 6-foot, 165-pound left-hander with the ability to work the strike zone from different arm slots.  His fastball sits 82-85 mph with good arm-side run, and he flashes a 67-69 mph curveball with good spin and downward movement.  Grant also throws a solid changeup at 74-76 mph with fastball arm action.  His mechanics are effortless and repeatable, and he has good demeanor and pace on the mound.  With added strength to his core and lower half, Grant certainly has potential to add more velocity to his fastball.  He will need to focus on working both sides of the plate effectively moving forward, and though still uncommitted, should impress enough to have opportunities to play at the collegiate level.
