TEXAS - Each week, PBR Texas will be showcasing an Offensive Player of the Week as well a Pitcher of the Week. These are names submitted by High School Coaches. Honorable Mentions will be released the following day under "Diamond Notes". Thank you to all the coaches that submitted players this week.

 

PITCHER OF THE WEEK

Johnathan Eastin - LHP - 2021 - Austin Bowie - Uncommitted 

In two games against Westlake and Del Valle, Eastin totaled fourteen innings pitched. He allowed only three total hits and zero runs, and struck out an impressive thirty one hitters along the way. in the game against Westlake, Eastin finished with a complete game shutout, tallying fourteen strikeouts against a talented lineup.

HITTER OF THE WEEK

Hunter Henexson - SS - 2023 - Bosqueville - Uncomitted

Henexson had a productive week at the plate for the Bulldogs. He had five hits in seven at bats, including a pair of home runs. He drove in eight, stole a pair of bases, and scored five himself. The Bulldogs will enjoy having Henexson in the middle of the lineup for a few years to come.
