As we approach the half way point in the NIAA Baseball regular season, teams attempt to put a stronghold on their positions among the Power 25 elite. The class 4A level appears to have some clear leaders while others experience their ups and downs.  Desert Oasis retains the top spot, riding the season opening win over Palo Verde. Reno holds at #3, going 5-2 in a six day, California swing.  Teams in the middle hold serve while Damonte Ranch and Silverado are clear risers with Silverado given the edge this week, cracking the Top 10. The Skyhawks have a legitimate starter in ’21 Chris Cortez that gives them a chance to beat anyone.

Boulder City is having their way with Southern Nevada 3A opponents. Elko moves up a couple of spots to #2, with Mojave holding steady at #3. Pahrump Valley drops to #4 and making their first appearance in the Power 25 is Truckee at #5.

Note: After some clarification, PBR Nevada recognizes the play of SLAM (Sports Leadership and Management Academy) for their play at the 3A Level. SLAM is an associate member of the NIAA and will be eligible to apply for full membership next season. SLAM is currently (9-5).

Lincoln County remains undefeated at the 2A level at #! and Needles and The Meadows remain at #2 and #3, respectively.  Laughlin climbs a notch to #4 and Lake Mead makes an appearance at #5.  North Tahoe fell out of the Power 25. 

Pahranagat Valley and Indian Springs stay #1 and #2 at the 1A level with Tonopah holding down the third spot.  Undefeated newcomers, Smith Valley (6-0) and Beatty (2-0) are #4 and #5 after not previously being ranked.
