PBR: Why did you choose Findlay?

Yorgen:  I felt really comfortable when I was there on my visit with the coaches and the school itself

PBR: What other schools were you considering?

Yorgen:  Spalding, Muskingum, and Heidelberg

PBR: Where did the coaches first see you? How did your relationship develop with their coaching staff?

Yorgen:  They first saw me in the spring when we played a conference game against Troy then again in the summer at the Bob Ross Classic.

PBR: What role do the coaches expect you to play your first year on campus?

Yorgen:  From day one they want me to come in and compete for a starting spot and also take a leadership role.

PBR: What is your biggest strength as a player and how do you feel that you will help Oiler baseball?

Yorgen:  I feel like I can help out the team with my bat and my never say die mentality.

PBR: Who do you play for in the summer and what was the most memorable experience from this summer?

Yorgen:  Miami Valley Wolverines. We went down to Charleston, South Carolina for the CABA World Series. We came in 5th place and also beat the Cincinnati Spikes.

PBR: Now that you have your commitment out of the way, what are your goals both individually and for the team for the rest of your senior season?

Yorgen:  Individually I want to keep getting better and try to make the All-Conference Team. As a team I want to make another deep run like we had last year and enjoy my last year with my teammates and coaches.

PBR: What were your stats for last spring season at Vandalia Butler?

Yorgen:  AVG: .362 OBP: .436 Runs: 22 Hits: 34 Doubles: 7 RBI: 19

PBR: Who is the toughest pitcher that you have faced in Ohio?

Yorgen:  Zach Shannon from Moeller
