Miamisburg right-handed pitcher Jeremy Randolph is one of the top arms left on the board in Ohio.

The 5-foot-11, 175-pound righty from southwestern Ohio sat in the mid 80's and touched up to 88 mph at the Top Prospect Games in June.

Pairing his fastball with a hard 76-77 mph slider, Randolph has established himself as one of the top uncommitted arms in the state.

With the summer season complete, he is getting closer to decision time.

"Right now, its just Wright State and Ball State," Randolph explained.

He followed, "But, I am interested in Dayton, Miami, Ohio, Bowling Green, Xavier, and Cincinnati as well."

At this point, Randolph has only taken one visit.

"So far, I have just visited Wright State, but ’I'll be visiting Ball State sometime in the next couple weeks."

Looking back on his Wright State visit, he noted, "I love the proximity, the facilities are great, and the coaches are great guys."

Despite former Head Coach Rob Cooper and assistant Ross Oeder moving on to Penn State, Randolph still feels a connection with Wright State coaching staff.

"I know Coach Lovelady and Coach Parker from Wright State pretty well and I think they both are really knowledgeable," he said.

Looking ahead, Randolph is excited about his future visit to Ball State.

"Coach Maloney seems like a great guy who will help me with both baseball and after (school) which is something I value. I am impressed with Coach Linklater's knowledge of pitching."

Randolph, who also plays basketball, doesn't have a leader. He is hoping to make a decision before the start of the winter sport's season.
