With the recently released updated 2021 rankings, a few players have really made some noise on the list.  Uncommitted RHP Cole Alguire from Vauxhall Academy is no doubt one of them.  Boasting a powerful 6-3 195 pound frame, Cole presents a very projectable build as well as the athleticism to become a high end power pitcher.  Sporting a fastball that already tops at 90 mph and works in the 85-88 range, you can see more velo of the fastball come with the ease of his delivery and actions. There is two developing off speed offerings in his curveball and change-up to work with that can be solid and Alguire shows worlds of potential and is a name to certainly  be watching for going forward into the future. He is currently one of the top uncommitted arms in the country out of the '21 class and we look forward to seeing him early as we can this spring.
