The Border Battle concludes on Sunday, featuring some of the best 2020 uncommitted players in the state.  To see lineups and expected pitching rotation, please click HERE.

Get to know each of your Border Battle participants from Tennessee that will play Sunday below:

2020

RHP/OF Grayson Cole (Mount Juliet) – The 17th ranked prospect in the state, Cole is the highest ranked player attending.  The 2-way athlete was up to 85 on the mound with 2 average or better off-speed pitches and showed well offensively at the Knights Scout Day.

RHP/3B Dylan Dickert (Seymour) – Coming off of a strong showing at the Fall Top Prospect Games where he touched 83, Dickert is looking to finish off the fall strong.

C Carter Edge (McCallie) – Edge brings his above average defensive ability, arm strength and bat speed back to his second PBR event this year.

OF Bradley Garland (Baylor) – Attending his first PBR event, Garland brings an advanced offensive approach that has allowed him to hit everywhere he has played this summer into the fall.

RHP Ricky Guthrie (Rhea County) – Attending his first PBR event, Guthrie is coming off of a strong freshman spring where he went 4-1 with 38 strikeouts in 37 innings.

C Caleb Hawkins (Stewarts Creek) – Hawkins brings an all-around catcher profile, showing some bat speed with arm strength and a quick release.

RHP Cole Heath (Davidson Academy) – Heath has made a large velocity jump from last fall to this fall, now topping out at 86 with feel for a breaking ball.

C Chase Hoover (Dickson County) – Hoover returns for his third PBR event of the year, bringing an athletic catcher build with a line drive oriented approach.

C Nathan Lewis (Home School) – Lewis is the top ranked C in the ’20 class and brings arm strength with a quick release and an intriguing offensive profile to the event.

MIF Matt Miraglia (Clarksville Northeast) – Attending his first PBR event, Miraglia is coming off a strong freshman spring where he hit .283 with a home run while holding down the SS position.

RHP A.J. Montijo (Silverdale Baptist Academy) – Attending his first PBR event, Montijo brings a physical frame w/ consistent high strikeout numbers all summer.

OF/RHP Ross Pendergrass (Rhea County) – Attending his first PBR event, Pendergrass has shown a projectable frame with bat speed and a fastball up to 84.

RHP Bracken Rice (Rossview) – Attending his first PBR event, Rice is coming off of a strong spring where he went 4-3 and held opponents to a .222 batting average.

1B Wylie Ritter (Montgomery Bell Academy) – Ritter is coming off of a strong showing at the Fall Top Prospect Games, where he showed his above average hit tool from both sides of the plate.

C Briggs Rutter (Zion Christian) – Attending his first PBR event, Rutter features a strong defensive profile with above average arm strength and developing power.

OF Lawrence Sutton (Lawrence County) – Sutton brings a projectable frame with the potential for a strong offensive profile and defensive versatility.

OF/RHP Ryan Tressler (Davidson Academy) – Tressler is currently the 6th ranked RHP in the state and brings a fastball up to 82 with feel for a 72-73 curveball.

MIF Ryan Wells (Eagleville) – Wells shows an intriguing middle infield profile, featuring soft hands, arm strength and above average running speed.

MIF Ben Willcoxon (Sevier County) – Currently the 7th ranked middle infielder in the class, Willcoxon brings a line drive oriented approach with bat speed and middle infield defensive actions.

OF/LHP Elijah Williams (Spring Hill) – Attending his first PBR event, Williams is expected to play a large role this spring for perennial power Spring Hill both on the mound and in the batter’s box.
