Team Arkansas drops final game to Team Select

Late comeback falls short as the early runs could not be overcome in a 6-4 loss in the fibal game of the Future Games. Some quality at bats by Caleb Rodgers going 2-2. kade seldomridge with an rbi double, Kent Carlisle also added with a loud single.

+2023 RHP, Ty Ridley, Harber High School,  had a tough luck start as he went 2 Innings allowing 2 runs with no balls hit hard of the 2 hits allowed. Tough sledding but showed some projectability with control of the strike zone. FB was 80-83 mph, SL was 71-78 mph, and CH was 77-79 mph. 

+2023 RHP David Sorg, southside High school, went 2 innings allowing 3 runs on 4 hits with 3 walks and 2 hbp. Tough outing for big David but has a high ceiling as he continues to grow into his frame. Long arm swing which caused him some trouble at times also shows sink at the plate creating ground balls. FB was 80-83 mph, CB was 70-74 mph, CH was 74-77 mph.

+2022 RHP Chase Armstrong, Marion HS was next up and had a tough time settling in but managed to allow zero runs. Once he settled in his physical frame and clean arm swing threw FB down in the zone with some occasional sink. He went 2 innings allowing 0 runs, 0 hits, 3 walks, and 2 strikeouts. FB was 8487 touching 88 mph, SL was 71-74 mph.

+2022 Kent Carlisle went 1 inning allowing 1 run on 0 hits walking 2 and striking out 3. FB was 80-83 mph, CB 62-64 mph, CH-75 mph. 

Offensively:

+2022 OF Grant Fitch, Cabot HS, went 1-2 with a double

+2022 MIF Caleb Rodgers, Pulaski Academy HS, went 2-2 with 2 singles, and 2 rbi's

+2022 MIF Cason Campbell, McCrory HS, went 0-2 with a deep fly out

+2022 Ethan Fender Util Harber HS, went 1-2 with a single

+2022 Connor Brady OF/RHP, Van Buren HS, went 1-2 with a single

+2022 Catcher Gavin Alveti, Harding Academy HS, went 1-1 with a single and a walk

+Clark Jenkins 2022 Outfielder Harber HS, went 1-2 with a RBI single

+2022 OF/MIF Kade Seldomridge Rogers HS, went 1-2 with a double and a RBI

+ 2022 Utility player Kent Carlisle, Southside High School,  went 1-1 with a loud single in his only at bat of the day..
