2017 TEAM PREVIEW: Alexandria monroe

2016 Record: 16-16
Conference (2016 Record):  Central Indiana 4-3
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 5/4

2017 Team Strengths:

• Leadership 

Top Returning Players:

• Isaac Granger, C, 2017: .962 Fielding %
• Matthew Etherington, 3B/P, 2018: 35.1IP 4.32ERA
• Trey Strokes, SS/P, 2019: .283BA 

Outlook:  Alexandria comes off a sectional championship win in 2016 while returning 5 bats into the lineup.  Coach Closser did graduate his two top arms from last spring, but looks to replace them with Matthew Etherington.  Team captian and 2 year starter, Isaac Granger, will lead the team this spring.  Team speed, quality defense, and young players stepping up will be key to their success.
