2017 TEAM PREVIEW: gibson southern titans

2016 Record: 11-16
Conference (2016 Record):  PAC 4-4
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 2/1

2017 Team Strengths:

• Defense
• Pitching 

Top Returning Players:

• Andrew Smith, SS, 2019
• Carson Elpers, C, 2017
• Dimitri Dewig, P, 2017 

Outlook: Gibson Southern will be very young this year with the majority of starting pitchers being underclassman.  Defense and pitching are keys to their success this spring.  Coach May expects this group to mature throughout the season.  Dimitri Dewig will be a key arm for the Titans as he tries to follow up a 3-1 campaign in 2016.
