2017 TEAM PREVIEW: LAFAYETTE jeff

2016 Record: 19-6
Conference (2016 Record):  NCC - 7-1
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 7/4

Outlook:   With 14 seniors, Lafayette Jeff brings leadership and experience into 2017.  After winning the NCC last spring, the Bronchos look to build off of last year's success to make a playoff run this year.  With plenty of pitching depth, Chandler Ferguson (Northwest Florida State JC) will lead the pitching staff as one of the best arms in the state.  Riley Potts (Heartland CC) and Riley Eberhart will also have big roles on the mound.  Justin Walker (Indiana) will enter his 4th year as the starting SS under Coach McTagertt.  Coach McTagertt knows he has a talented group, but will have to compete in one of the best sectionals in the state.
