2017 TEAM PREVIEW: Westfield Shamrocks

2016 Record: 15-16
Conference (2016 Record): Hoosier Crossroads
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 4/2

2017 Team Strengths:

• Matthew Meyer, INF/P, 2018: .325BA 15RBI
• Logan McClurg, OF/LHP, 2018: .294BA 2.39ERA
• Kyle Pepiot, OF/RHP, 2019

Outlook:  The Shamrocks will be young this year after graduating a big senior class in 2016.  Coach Bunnell will expect this group to mature throughout the season to be prepared for a late season run.  Westfield may play one of the most difficult schedules between the HCC and sectional.  Led by Brian Skelton, an IU-South Bend signee, the Shamrocks expect to pitch and defend it well this upcoming season.
