The athletic utility showed really well behind the plate at the scout day. The sub 7 runner laid down another sixty time in the low 6.9's put up a 70+ mph C velo and POP times in the 1.92 to 2.05 range. He showed quick hands and his throws carried to the bag with accuracy.

Burgess Gurganus RHP / 1B / North Myrtle Beach , SC / 2022Rankings StateRank: 61 / POS: 12
Gurganus is a intriguing two way prospect who showed some big time pop at the plate as well as solid defensive tools. The RHP ran the FB up to 81 at 2000 rpms. He mixed three pitches with feel and the durable build will easily project at the next level.

Matthew Mitchell RHP / OF / Georgetown , SC / 2024Mitchell sports a slender build with tons of upside. He worked out in the OF as well as INF during the scout day and showed promise at both positions. There is natural feel for the barrel and consistent contact. He could see a spike in the power at some point during his development.

Gus Darden 3B / RHP / Waccamaw, SC / 2023Darden has a larger frame with broad shoulders. His Blast motion numbers and BP rounds were some of the best of the day. He worked out at 3rd with sure hands and subtle athleticism in the actions. Projection and current skill set will make him a follow going forward.

Blake Wall C / RHP / Georgetown , SC / 2022Wall is a barrel chested catcher with strength throughout. He produced the top exit velo during his BP and showed the ability to drive balls out of the park to the pull side. His pop range was 2.04-2.10 with a 70 mph C velo. He handled pitchers well during live ABs.
