FEDJE-JOHNSON: I’ve received strong interest from a wide range of schools, including Yale, NDSU, Davidson, Tulane, Bucknell, Bradley, SCSU, Augustana and several others.

PBR: Have you developed a relationship with any specific coaches?
FEDJE-JOHNSON:  Yes, I have had good conversations with the coaches from all these schools and several more. The coaches at NDSU have been great throughout the entire recruiting process. I have been in contact with the coaching staff’s at Yale and Davidson for quite a while now and have developed good relationships with them as well.

PBR: Have you taken any visits? If so, please describe each visit.
FEDJE-JOHNSON: I visited NDSU this summer and was shown their field, the weight room, indoor facilities, and campus. I also visited Yale, Holy Cross, and Dartmouth, met with the coaches and toured their baseball facilities this past winter.

PBR: Do you have any visits scheduled?
FEDJE-JOHNSON: We just wrapped up the Legion State Tourney, and I am now planning to visit more schools in August and September, while also attending a few more tournaments and showcases.

PBR: Do you have any offers at this stage?
FEDJE-JOHNSON: Yes.

PBR: Do you have a timeline for your recruitment?
FEDJE-JOHNSON: I haven’t set a specific date for committing, but I’ll most likely decide sometime early in the fall.  Right now I am focused on keeping my options open as I figure out what school will be the best fit for both baseball and academics.

PBR: Do you have a favorite at this stage? If so, who and why?
FEDJE-JOHNSON: I have been very impressed by all the schools I have received interest from.  They all have their unique strengths, and I just want to make sure I select the one that’s the best fit for me as a student athlete.

PBR: What showcases or events have been most meaningful to your recruitment thus far?
FEDJE-JOHNSON: I would say the PBR Top Prospect Games and the HeadFirst Honor Roll Camp have been the most beneficial. Both events were well run and gave me the opportunity to showcase my abilities in front of many coaches.

PBR: GPA/ACT/SAT?
FEDJE-JOHNSON: I have a 3.94 GPA and scored a 32 on the ACT last year.
