The Rode Show: Future Games Thursday Highlights

EMERSON, GA—The 2019 PBR Future Games kicked off Wednesday, July 31, with the workout day and games got going on Thursday. Naturally, arms were a big talking point. RHP Chase Petty (Mainland HS, NJ) started things off with his electric arsenal. Meanwhile, SS/RHP Jackson Jobe (Heritage Hall HS, OK) broke out a breaking ball with an elite spin rate, LHP Thomas White (Phillips Academy, MA) showed he could hang with the older kids and RHP Micah Bucknam (M.E.I., BC) was up to 91. Not to be forgotten, plenty of hitters stood out, including SS Alex Ritzer (Stillwater HS, MN) and 3B Billy Amick (P27 Academy, SC).
