Three Unsigned Corner OF/INF In Oklahoma's 2017 class

Today, PBR Oklahoma takes a look at three unsigned seniors who can play the corners of the outfield and infield. All three poses the ability to drive the ball deep into the gaps.

Joseph Craig, OF/3B, Blanchard HS
A 6-foot-2, 205-pound corner outfielder, thick, strong frame. Offensively, right-handed hitter, middle-pull approach, strong hands. Upright, relaxed, still stance, moderate stride, late heal plant, uphill bat path, some length. Defensively, projects a right fielder in the outfield, throws from a high -3/4 slot, fluid, above average arm, with carry. At third base, average hands, quick release.

Cross Factor, 3B/OF, Yukon HS
A 6-foot-1, 185-pound athletic, lean, muscular frame. Offensively, left-handed hitter, middle-pull approach, fast hands. Slightly open, athletic balanced set-up, double toe tap stride for timing.  Short to the ball, level  plane through contact, bat speed. 4.7 on the turn to second. Defensively, good OF reads, above average arm strength, athletic actions at the corner infield spots as well, soft hands, could fill a utility role at the next level.  

Jake Pearson, OF/3B, Harrah HS
A 6-foot-1, 190-pound corner outfielder, strong build, defined lower half. Offensively, right-handed hitter, gap to gap approach, bat speed, good hand eye. Open, athletic stance, moderate leg kick, slightly uphill bat path, produces back spin. 4.51 home-to-first.  Defensively, efficient routes to the ball in the OF, strong arm, some carry.
