Three playoff series started Thursday and each series was decided by the end of the day. 

    In 1A, #3 Mars Hill (now 28-6) defeated #7 Victory Christian by a score of 18-1 in both games Thursday, while #8 Sweet Water (20- 10) eliminated Maplesville in two game by scores of 7-4 and 17-3. In 6A, #2 Russell County continued their dominant ways, improving to 36-3, with a sweep of Dothan by scores of 6-0 and 12-6.
