Suffice it to say that Brendan McKay is one of the more famous Team Pennsylvania participants in the history of the PBR Future Games. His performance as a member of Team PA in 2012 served notice of things to come. McKay had one of the most storied careers in the history of college baseball during his three years with the Lousiville Cardinals. The two-way standout went on to be drafted fourth overall in the first round of the 2017 MLB Draft by the Tampa Bay Rays. 

McKay was able to continue to utilize his two-way abilities as a professional in his first season with the Hudson Valley Renegades of the New York Penn League. The left-handed hitter belted four home runs and drove in 22 runs in just 125 plate appearances last summer. In six appearances and just 20 innings on the mound, McKay went 1-0 with a sparkling 1.80 ERA while registering 21 strikeouts and held opposing hitters to a .149 batting average against.
