Two KS 2023 prospects in the national list

Earlier today, our national staff released the overall Class of 2023 rankings. Two Kansas prospects represented the state in the list of 300.

No. 231 Jeremy Comer (St. James Academy) and No. 247 Jaxon Goldberg (Blue Valley North) were two standouts at recent events. Goldberg stood out at the PBR Junior Future Games in 2019 at LakePoint in Georgia. Comer attended the Between The Lines Scout Day in February.

Comer has proven he's a two-way threat, and has the advanced frame to back it up at 6-foot-2, 170-pounds with room to fill out. On the mound, he sat 81-82, touching 83 mph at the mid-February event.  FB shows consistent and late arm-side run. CB 70-71 with depth. Advanced SL with 10/4 shape and late bite. What stands out the most for Comber is the ease and efficiency in his delivery which will allow him to continue to throw strikes and add big velo in the years to come.

Comer (2.15.20)

Clean, easy stroke from the left side. Posted an 87 mph exit velocity and threw 81 mph from the OF during the defensive portion.

Comer (2.15.20)

Goldberg performed at the Junior Future Games back in 2019. Switch-hitting MIF with a calm, mature demeanor at the plate with physicality that separates him from his peers. Smooth, easy stroke and flashes pop. In the infield, clean hands and natural defensive actions.

Goldberg (7.29.19)
