Uncommitted Spotlight: 2020 OF Brendan Tierney (John S. Burke)

Since June 7th, our boot-on-the-ground scouting team have seen 500+ players at showcase events, including the 2019 NYS Games. Already, 100's of players have caught the eyes of our professional scouting staff, all with dreams of playing baseball at the next-level. Several 2020 graduates have performed well over the course of the summer and now fall. The "Uncommitted Spotlight" is meant to cast a brighter light onto 2020 talent still looking for a place to call home next fall. * Players named are uncommitted to the best of our knowledge

CEVETTE'S QUICK HIT: Tierney shows advanced athleticism evidenced by his 6.8 60. At the plate, he's loose and relaxed, open front side with a stride back to even on the pitch. His barrel stays mostly level through contact with lift during the finish, very aggressive and fluid, the bat projects at the next level. Defensively, very active and rangy in the OF, he's athletic, attacks the ball and the arm-strength is above average. Tierney would make a fine addition to any program at the next-level.
